Are you uncomfortable at social gatherings where alcohol is not present?	Y	N
Do you ever get angry when your drinking is discussed?	Y	N
Have you ever had a memory lapse or blackout after drinking?	Y	N
Do you drink to calm your nerves?	Y	N
Have you ever lied about your drinking?	Y	N
Do you ever have insomnia (trouble sleeping) as a result of drinking or not drinking?	Y	N
Has your appetite or eating habits ever suffered as a result of drinking?	Y	N
Have you ever lost control or became violent while drinking?	Y	N
Did you lie on any of these questions?	Y	N

If you answered yes to three or more of these questions, it suggests early stage alcoholism. The more yes answers you have, the more likely the possibility.
